The challenge
Yatton junior football club required a website to provide details about the club and promote events.
My responsibilities:
I was responsible for recommending the domain name and also recommending WordPress as a cms for the club to post updates about events and activities. I was also responsible for designing initial layout ideas and building the website from the clients ideas and existing content.
Collaboration: Working closely with the club secretary to implement content ideas and ensure the website was easy to update and manage.
The approach
I decided upon WordPress as this allowed the club to easily promote future events and game days but also enabled the club to update the content themselves. Once this had been agreed i worked on a simple homepage to convey some ideas and some club identity using photographs from their facebook page. This acted as a talking point and we were able to discuss content options and features.
